Originally from Guyana, South America, Dr. Westford emigrated to the United States after high school to attend college in New York City. After completing her residency in Danbury, Connecticut, she moved to Victoria, Texas. She was employed by an Ob/Gyn practice for six years before starting her own private practice. She has three daughters, Gracyn Elizabeth, Kathryn Angelia and Madelyn Helena.

Dr. Westford is a board certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She received her undergraduate education in Biology at Pace University in New York City and her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Dominica, WI. She did her internship at Jamaica Hospital Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Queens, New York. In June 2005, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale University School of Medicine, Danbury Hospital Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Danbury, CT.

Dr. Westford specializes in Operative Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation and Designer Laser Vaginoplasty® (DLV®) which is the aesthetic surgical enhancement of the vulvo-vaginal structures. She is the first and the only physician in the Crossroads area to have received specialized training in this area. She is an Associate of the prestigious Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute and was trained in Beverly Hills, Ca by its founder, renowned cosmetic gynecologist, David Matlock, MD of Dr. 90210 fame.
